Site-to-site VPN Devices, Navisite Managed MS Azure

Navisite Managed MS Azure supports connection to Microsoft validated devices that support Route-Based configurations. A list of the currently validated devices can be found here:

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/vpn-gateway-about-vpn-devices/

Customers and their vendors are responsible for the configuration of their endpoints based on the documentation provided by Microsoft at the URL above. Non-standard configurations outside of these guidelines will not be supported. Navisite engineers will configure the MS Azure Virtual Network Gateway and Connections based on input received from the customer. Please provide the following information for each tunnel required:

  • Public IP address of nn-premise VPN device.
  • Azure Virtual Networks to connect to this end-point. (Description OK if not provisioned.)
  • On-premise networks to connect to from premise.
  • Pre-shared key.

Navisite engineers will provide the MS Azure Virtual Network Gateway public IP address once it has been provisioned within the MS Azure portal. The MS Azure subnets information will also be provided if it wasn’t provisioned and provided previously.

Note: Navisite manages and monitors customer environments using the following address space:

165.113.0.0/16
10.208.0.0/12

VPN tunnels that transport overlapping address space should not be configured, as they will interfere with management of your Azure environment. NAT should be configured at the customer side in order to resolve any conflicts.
