Proximity – Multi-Factor Authentication Setup

Proximity employs Okta Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for login password security.

Following implementation of Okta MFA, your initial Proximity login attempt requires you to enroll and set up your MFA method, as detailed below.

Enter your Navisite ID sign-in email address and password values, and click Sign In.

Following a successful login, the factor selection screen is presented.

The factor selection screen allows you to select the method to be used for Okta MFA when you log into Proximity. Available methods include:
  • Okta Verify – This method requires a mobile device and installation of the Okta Verify application.

  • SMS Authentication – This method requires a mobile device capable of receiving SMS messages.

  • Voice Call Authentication – This method requires a telephone connection.
To select a method, click Setup below the desired method, and configure your MFA options as described in the Okta documentation located here:https://help.okta.com/en/prod/Content/Topics/Mobile/okta-verify-setup-new.htm.
