A Navisite Cloud Director VM’s System Type value corresponds to its VMware virtual hardware version. Higher virtual hardware versions support more features. vCloud Director supports virtual hardware versions 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

Virtual hardware features include BIOS and EFI, available virtual PCI slots, maximum number of CPUs, maximum memory configuration, and other characteristics typical to hardware.
