NCD – About vApp Networks

A vApp Network is a virtual network that exists at the vApp level, and is available to all VMs within that vApp. A vApp network may be connected to a higher-level vDC network, which provides connectivity outside of the vApp, or it may be "isolated," only connecting VMs together.

Note: An isolated vApp network provides no connectivity outside of the vApp; it only connects its own VMs together. Refer to Identifying Isolated Networks for more information.
