NCD – What is a vApp?
A vApp (or virtual application) is a logical container for virtual resources. A vApp can contain VMs (virtual machines), networks, and networking rules.
Resources within a vApp can be controlled from the vApp level. For example, all VMs within a vApp can be powered on or off at once by changing the status of the vApp.
