Opening the console of a VM allows you to interact with the VM’s guest operating system. To open a VM's console, navigate to the VM's detail page and click its Open Console button. A VM must be powered on in order for you to gain access to the console.

Obtain the default password for console access to VMs from your Customer Relationship Manager.

Obtain the auto-generated or manually specified password of a VM by examining the "Admin Password" field of the "VM Config" section of a VM's detail page.
